The Little Pearl
The Little Pearl, a traditional Cretan stone house lovingly renovated, is designed for a maximum of two people. It has a terrace overlooking the Psiloritis, a romantic court yard where you can enjoy undisturbed privacy, a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom with a spacious shower. Everything has been designed with great attention to detail in order to preserve the very special charm of the small house.
This holiday home is located in the village Sivas, known for its fine restaurants, in the south of the Heraklion district on the edge of the Messara plain. Around the plateau of the village you will find small, well-equipped supermarkets, several restaurants, an Internet cafe, a kafeneion and a meat shop.
In the immediate vicinity are several well-known Minoan sites (such as Festos, Agria Triada, the ancient Minoan port of Komos), monasteries and gorges, as well as individually developed Cretan villages. The landscape enchants with the combination of sea coast and the overwhelming view of the Ida mountains and olive-grooved areas with slightly rising hills which are also gently rolling through the plains. The stunning sandy beach of Komo is a 5 minutes and the wellknown village Matala a 8 minutes drive from the house.
